Irvine Premier Soccer Club B00 made the final eight from the best sixty-four teams in Southern California, in the 2012 State Cup Presidents division. Including a win over the number two Gold team and a tie with another excellent Gold team that is still in the Semi Finals. Also, IPSC B00 had wins over a very good Silver team and a very good tier two group winner from SCDSL. In the end, IPSC B00 was knocked out by one of the top rated teams in the country, FC Barcelona. IPSC had a significantly improved performance against FC Barcelona over the previous game earlier in the season. Overall, the 2011-2012 season has been tremendous for the IPSC B00. They finished third in CSL Silver Elite South, winning four of five games in League Cup, and reaching the final eight of State Cup. Coach Chun’s team has demonstrated significant improvement by every player on the team. These achievements are a strong testament to Coach Sam Chun who has done a fantastic job developing our players and building the IPSC B00 team. We look forward to another great year in 2012-2013.
