The Irvine Premier B01 Blue Team followed the CSL Spring Cup victory by taking First Place in the Bronze Omega CSL Fall Soccer League with a record of thirteen (13) Wins and one (1) Loss. In League Cup, the team continued to work hard, achieving two (2) wins, one (1) tie and one (1) loss. As a result, the team will be promoted to Silver.
The team traveled to Apple Valley for the Presidents Division of State Cup. In the first round, the team battled a strong San Diego Surf Boys, which is currently in the finals for the BU9 Presidents division. While the San Diego team won that match, the boys fought hard and demonstrated good sportsmanship. However, the following day, the team found success by beating the Carlsbad Lightning and the Oxnard P.A.L. The boys competed vigorously and advanced to the Round of 16 in Lancaster.
In Lancaster, the team battled FC Barcelona. The team fought hard, keeping the score to 0-0 for the majority of the first half. In the end, FC Barcelona came out with the win.
The Irvine Premier B01 Blue team had a successful 2010 season. We are currently looking to add a few silver level players that share the same enthusiasm for Soccer.
